On 18th and 19th March 2026, the
Inter College Sports Meet was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the renowned
Guru Nanak Institute of Engineering and Management, Naushehra. The event was
organized under the dynamic leadership of the worthy Founder and Patron, Er.
Parmjit Singh, Honourable Chairman Er. Prabhjit Singh, Worthy Vice Chairperson
Mrs. Aravindar Kaur, Respected Director Ms. Amandeep Kaur, and Respected
Principal Dr. Mandeep Singh Heer.
The event was officially
inaugurated with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and balloon release by the
Honourable Chairman Er. Prabhjit Singh and Director Ms. Amandeep Kaur,
accompanied by principals from various colleges. To seek blessings and guidance,
the Principal of GNIEM warmly welcomed the distinguished Chief Guest, match
referee, principals, teachers, and audience for gracing the occasion.
Six prestigious colleges
participated in the sports meet, namely GNIEM Naushehra, GNCE Dalewal, GNIP
Dalewal, MVM I.T.C. Attalgarh, SBCMS IT Attalgarh, and SGGSCE Beghpur Kamlooh.
Students actively took part in various sports events such as Kabaddi, Volleyball,
Kho-Kho, Tug of War (for both boys and girls), along with different athletic
events including races. The event promoted sportsmanship, teamwork, and a
spirit of healthy competition among all participants.
