The Anti-Ragging Committee of the Institute has been constituted as per the orders of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India to help & maintain a ragging-free campus. Ragging, in any form, is prohibited at all levels, both inside and outside the campus. Ragging is a heinous act. The Anti-Ragging Committee needs to take all possible steps in the prevention of ragging, help ensure security on campus (including collective and individual responsibilities), be the first people to engage with any incident of reported ragging, and serve as good role model/risk mitigation responsibilities. In this respect, the Committee will apply mutual respect, empathy, and inclusivity in social interactions and fraternity among students to establish collective action, organization, and solidarity that upholds the health, safety, security, dignity, and well-being of all those at the Institute. In short, the Anti-Ragging Committee aims to help ensure that all students enjoy a safe and welcoming environment, especially new students.
